Buriti

Oils & butters for different properties

Acai oil
: from the fruit pulp of acai a superfruit. Rich in antioxidants, protective properties against aggressive chemicals

Andiroba oil: remedy used in the Amazon area due to a wide range of biological activities, anti-inflammatory properties due to its unique limonoids, also used as an insect-repellent

Babassu oil: sustainably sourced, giving rise to women empowerment and it’s an important source of income for communities. The communities also work against deforestation. The oil itself plays a protective role in hair care and has anti-inflammatory properties in general, relevant for conscious beauty formulations

Buriti oil: oil from a fruit of a local keystone species, called the tree of life – high content of carotenoids, anti-inflammatory properties

Copaiba balm: obtained from tree trunks in a non-damaging way to the tree, offers anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant and health benefits in general

Cupuacu butter: butter from a superfruit, used for centuries by indigenous people. It melts readily on body contact and provides an impressive hydration power. It focuses on rejuvenating and offers a beneficial composition

Murumuru butter: provides skin softness and moisturisation, and offers a dry and surprisingly matte finish. It also improves hair manageability

Pracaxi oil: thanks to its high levels of long chain fatty acids, it acts as a protective function on the skin but has also an interesting use in hair care, and finally brings a superb skin feel

Ucuuba butter: has a dry touch and brings a velvety feel. It can be used as a skin and hair protectant, and offers tissue regeneration.
