Traditional antioxidant systems are synthetic compounds or blends dissolved in a suitable carrier. Our traditional antioxidant systems are sold under the brand name Antrancine.
Our Antrancine range contains combinations of the four traditional antioxidants approved for use in human foodstuffs.
Natural antioxidant systems Natural antioxidant systems are naturally occurring substances blended in powders or dissolved in a suitable liquid carrier.
Our natural antioxidant systems are sold under the brand names Phytrox, Phytrox Rosemary and Tocomix. They contain combinations of three different natural antioxidants
Tocopherol
Tocopherol has proven to be highly effective in protecting oils and fats from lipid oxidation. Jan Dekker International’s Tocomix brand is based on these natural tocopherols; primarily gamma- and delta-tocopherol, which have the highest antioxidant activity.
Improvement of vegetable oils and fats Dekafry is a food ingredient especially developed to improve the heat stability of deep-frying fats and oils, reducing the formation of brown deposits, enhancing the heat-transfer between food and fat, that food can be baked or fried at lower temperatures or in substantially shorter time.
