Jan Dekker International introduces at in-cosmetics 2012 in Barcelona its ‘Preservatives Portfolio Extension’ and launches its new and innovative Anti-ageing ingredient ‘GemmoNova® - A new generation of Anti-Ageing Bud Extract’. On top of this, Jan Dekker will share its ‘BB Divine’ Formulation Innovation and Ingredients Focus especially meeting the Solar Beauty Theme.

GemmoNova® is a new generation of Anti-Ageing Bud Extract. This new active ingredient is obtained thanks to a new cultivation method, Bud Nest® technology. Grown in a contamination free environment, safflower bud is rich in active compounds. GemmoNova® will be demonstrated during the Innovation Seminar on 18th April from 09.30-10.00 in Theatre 1.

The world of preservatives is quite challenging due to changing attitudes towards classical preservatives systems. As a well-known preservatives supplier, Jan Dekker has a broad range with preservatives alternatives, with classical blends, Cosmos-listed preservatives, antimicrobial 'non-preservatives' multifunctionals and other broadly accepted preservatives. Recently we have extended our product range with other paraben alternatives, such as a broad-spectrum based on organic acids in Phenoxyethanol, a Cosmos-listed fungicide, an antimicrobial multifunctional and a broad-spectrum non-paraben blend which also works at neutral pH. In addition, also the paraben-loyal customers are not forgotten - we have a vast range, also taken into account the upcoming parabens legislation change.
